Maximizing high heel Shoes

Brief History

Some call it “Cow boy shoe” but how does it come into existence? The main history of high heels can be traced back to the 10th century. Horse riding was a form of recreational activity. And the heels was added to shoes of horse riders in order to gain stability while sitting on the horse. The popular acceptance by women of high heel shoes started in the 15th century. And one of the pioneers of heels then was “Catherine De Medici”. This woman was short and needed something that will help her match with her suitor who is crushing on someone else.

Effects of High Heel Shoes on you

1.) Corn (popularly known as Callouses): have you ever put on a tight shoe before now? This has happened to me in recent times. Tight shoes are the major cause of this. Callouses formation of fluid beneath the skin of the affected side. Some can bear it for the place to heal while others will cut it open leading to a sore(wound). Most heels are tight toward the toe side. They are either pointed end or shapened at the toe compressing it together. So first thing to everyone who has shoe, avoid too tighten shoes especially for the toes.

2.) Lower back pain: The effect of heels on the pelvis cannot be overemphasized. High heel shoes can cause unbalance in your pelvis by pushing it upward as against the normal body anatomy. Such abnormality can lead to low back pain. So my advice on the use of high heels, it is meant for very short hours of usage. The reason why you won’t feel pain is because the normal disruption is not enough to affect the spine. So heels can distort the spine and that is why low back pain will be felt.

3.) Onychocryptosis( Ingrown toenail): This usually occur at the big toe, where the side of the nail on the toe pins down the skin around it. And the only reason is for the tightness and the weight on the toe nail. Without the great toe, have you ever thought it will be impossible to put on heels? So don’t use heels to destroy your feet.

4.) High heels can cause sprained ankle: This is the only effect everyone is acquainted with. So be careful, make sure your feet is well placed in heels to prevent you from missing your steps and leading to Sprain.

5.) The after effect for high heels lovers after years is Arthritis: It is normal they experience joint pain at the present time. Accumulative effect of this will degenerate those joint and that is where Arthritis comes in. So be careful when wearing your heels.
