  1. Eyes care: apply the 20-20-20 rule; you look away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes and focus on an object 20 feet away. Blink very often and ensure proper lighting of the office. You can take a break at intervals. And reduce the brightness of the screen.
  2. Organize the chair and table: Ensure the chair is close enough to the desk with the mouse and keyboard not far to reach.
  3. Proper Phone call: it is wrong and stressful to take a call with the receiver jammed between your shoulder and ear. Using a headset would prevent you from straining the neck muscles.

The danger of fatigue at work

It is a situation you won’t want to find yourself at all. Below are the common dangers of tiredness.
• Decreased mental and physical function
• impaired judgment and poor concentration,
• reduced motivation
• slow reaction time
• increased risk-taking

The dangers culminate in loss of productivity, occupational discomfort, and ill-health. Although the situation is challenging, your zeal and determination to remain productive and healthy are enough to keep you up and doing in ergonomic best practices.
It’s good to note that; Sleep disorders, having a bad day, receiving bad news, stress, and several psychosocial disorders may lead to office fatigue. Therefore, a proper determination of the reasons for your fatigue should be the first step in your attempt to tackle it.
